Latest News on Sheetal Devi and Sarita Kumari's Paris Paralympics 2024: A few days prior at Paris 2024, Sheetal had came dangerously close to breaking the world record in qualification.

Sarita Kumari and Sheetal Devi, two Indian paraarchers Standouts: At the Paris Paralympics on Saturday, India's Sheetal Devi and Sarita Kumari were eliminated from the individual women's archery competition. Sarita Kumari fell to Oznur Girdi Cure of Turkey in the quarterfinals, while Sheetal Devi was eliminated by Mariana Zuniga of Chile in the round of 16. The 22-year-old Zuniga won a silver medal three years ago in the Paralympics in Tokyo. 

In their round of 16 match, the in-form Sarita overcame Eleonora Sarti of Italy 141–135; however, in the quarterfinals, they faced Cure. During the Paralympic qualification round, Sheetal Devi broke the current world record, but Oznur Girdi Cure of Turkey beat her.
