Barcelona vs. Osasuna player ratings: An amazing outcome! Hansi Flick's winning run ends as Robert Lewandowski & Co. utterly collapse.
On Saturday night, Hansi Flick chose a rotating Barcelona starting lineup against Osasuna, but the Camp Nou team suffered a costly defeat in dramatic fashion, losing 4-2.
Ante Budimir overpowered Pau Cubarsi to slam a header into the top corner, giving Osasuna the lead after only eighteen minutes. Bryan Zaragoza added a second goal just before the half-hour mark after Osasuna regained the ball in midfield and Jules Kounde and Sergi Dominguez created a brilliant through pass for the winger to finish. Barcelona decided without making any changes at halftime, sticking with the same starting lineup in an attempt to mount a comeback. Within eight minutes, Pau Victor sent it home with a long-range shot, although he had to rely on some appalling goalkeeping from Sergio Herrera, who seemed to paw the ball into the lower corner.
Then, Osasuna quickly increased their advantage from the penalty spot when Dominguez pulled down Budimir in the area. The striker got back up to score a second and his team's third goal. Hansi Flick then signaled for Raphinha and Lamine Yamal to come off the bench. And with five minutes left, Abel Bretones gave Osasuna a spectacular fourth goal with a long-range shot that found the top corner. A far-reaching consolation goal from Yamal spared Barca from what would have been an embarrassing outcome.
