Mohun Bagan Super Giants vs. Hyderabad FC Predictions: The Mariners will win again on the road.
Hyderabad FC will kick off Matchday 7 of the 2024–25 Indian Super League (ISL) by hosting championship contenders Mohun Bagan.
We are here to offer our predictions and betting advice for what should be a nerve-racking matchup between two teams at opposite ends of the table, as usual.
Mohun Bagan Super Giant vs. Hyderabad FC: Lineups, Bets, and Context.
Hyderabad was predicted to struggle before the 2024–25 ISL season started for a number of reasons. So far, the prediction has been accurate after six games. With just four points from their five games thus far, the Nizams are presently ranked tenth in the standings. They will, however, be coming off a convincing 4-0 victory against Mohammedan SC on the road when they play Mohun Bagan. Does that mean better things are on the horizon? Time will tell.
The Mariners, on the other hand, are third in the standings with 10 points from five games and have continued to support their title hopes. If they win in Hyderabad, they might move up to second position, surpassing Jamshedpur FC.
Our Analysis From Both Teams.
In their first four league games of the season, Hyderabad suffered three losses and drew. They put up their greatest performance in a very long time as they desperately tried to win for the first time. The Nizams' seven-game losing run came to an end with an outstanding 4-0 victory away against Mohammedan. They will now be trying to win consecutive games, something they haven't done since the 2022–2023 campaign.
However, Mohun Bagan would have preferred a better beginning. They have stayed within striking distance of Bengaluru, the current league leaders, despite a few figurative setbacks. The Blues' 3-0 victory against the defending League Shield champions has been Bagan's worst loss thus far in the league campaign. Mohun Bagan will move up to second position with 13 points, three points behind Bengaluru, who face FC Goa on Saturday, if they defeat Hyderabad.
