Women's T20 World Cup 2024: Following this year's men's T20 World Cup, the women's T20 World Cup takes center stage. The ninth ICC Women's T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates. Due to political upheaval in Bangladesh, the event was moved from its original location to the United Arab Emirates. The main tournament will be contested from October 3–20 and will include 10 teams in total. There will be a total of 23 matches played during the event as the teams are split into two pools.


Harmanpreet Kaur and company have a fantastic chance to establish the Indian women's team's reputation since they have yet to win an ICC tournament. India's team is full of stars, with Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana among them.

Throughout the competition, a female-led, celebrity-filled commentary crew will offer knowledgeable analysis. Along with past stars Anjum Chopra and Katey Martin, with former India coach WV Raman, the World Cup champions Mel Jones, Lisa Sthalekar, Stacy Ann King, Lydia Greenway, and Carlos Brathwaite will be present. Former India captain Mithali Raj will rejoin in the commentary box with her on-field adversary, former Pakistan captain Sana Mir, adding even more star power.

In addition to these legends, the commentary lineup has some of the most prominent voices in cricket broadcasting, including Kass Naidoo, Ian Bishop, Natalie Germanos, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Nasser Hussain, Alison Mitchell, and Kass Naidoo.
