Germany defeated Bosnia & Herzegovina 7-0 to clinch their Nations League group, driven by Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala.

Musiala headed home an inch-perfect cross from Joshua Kimmich to give Germany a quick start in the game. They took the lead early on and settled in rather easily, controlling possession and allowing Bosnia very little. Behind Tim Kleindienst, three orchestrators—Musiala, Wirtz, and Kai Havertz—made the Germans appear flamboyant as they attacked. Sane scored barely minutes after entering the game after receiving a lobbed ball from Havertz, demonstrating how Germany's rhythm was unaffected by the substitutions. Kleindienst scored the seventh goal of the evening to complete a huge humiliation for Sergej Barbarez's soldiers, but the visitors' suffering was far from finished.

The Big Losser:

Vasilj, the Bosnian goalie, had a terrible time at Freiburg. He threw up possession a few times while playing out from the back, seemed nervous when handling, and ought to have performed far better in at least three of the goals. His worst moment of the evening could have been misjudging Wirtz's free-kick, which went straight down his throat.
