With seven sessions averaging over 1 million viewers across all platforms, including 1.6 million nationwide for the third session of Day 1, the Perth Test also topped TV ratings in Australia for the opening three days, according to Cricket Australia. "Daily average viewing audiences increased 30 per cent on last season’s West Test against Pakistan across the first three days," said Cricket Australia.
Engagement on Cricket Australia's digital platforms also increased, with 8.4 million visitors worldwide and 2.7 million Australians accessing cricket.com.au and the Cricket Australia Live app throughout the Test. The pink-ball Test between Australia and India will now start on December 6 in Adelaide.
