In the third and decisive ODI of the series played at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, Pakistan secured a convincing 99-run victory over Zimbabwe, wrapping up the series 2-1. This was a statement win for the young and revamped Pakistani side, which bounced back after losing the first ODI.

Batting first, Pakistan posted an imposing total of 303/6 in 50 overs. Kamran Ghulam was the star with a stellar 103 off 99 balls, his first ODI century, supported by Abdullah Shafique’s 50 and crucial contributions from Salman Agha and Tayyab Tahir.
