Real Madrid vs Sevilla

Player ratings for Real Madrid vs. Sevilla: Kylian Mbappe is back to his peak! As Los Blancos cruise to put pressure on Atletico Madrid, a French star scores a stunning goal and Rodrygo shines.

When Carlo Ancelotti's team gradually gained three points and solidified their return to the championship fight, the striker shone.

As Real Madrid easily defeated an admittedly weak Sevilla team 4–2, Kylian Mbappe put on a fantastic attacking display as the rest of the team hummed around him. Perhaps his greatest performance in white to date, the Frenchman scored the opening goal and contributed to the other three. The fact that his team gave up twice will irritate Carlo Ancelotti, but other than that, they played really well offensively.

Madrid quickly got into the swing of things. If anything, it was surprising that the first goal didn't arrive before the ten-minute mark because Los Blancos were on it from the first minute. But it was an amazing one. The first was an incredible smash from outside the box by Mbappe into the top corner.

Soon after, Federico Valverde scored the second goal with a brilliant corner routine, blasting on from beyond the area. Rodrygo finished a fantastic team goal with a composed finish, making it three minutes in.However, there was a Madrid slip-up when Isaac Romero pulled one back after becoming worrisomely exposed on a straightforward header and cross.

However, that turned out to be little more than a nuisance. Brahim Diaz scored the fourth goal, putting the game out of reach with a brilliant combination and dink that made up for an otherwise subdued effort. The game was then ended by Los Blancos. Mbappe had a few half-chances, but a few more chances may have been created with more incisive play. Nevertheless, those had little effect on Carlo Ancelotti and company's fantastic day, as they are now settling into La Liga.
